To choose wall art for a hotel or short-stay apartment in Sydney, pick one large piece per key wall, keep the palette calm and consistent, and plan for the lead time. Our designs are 150 × 100cm, framed and ready to hang, and made to order in 12–16 weeks from deposit.
One large piece usually does more than several small ones. Above a bedhead, a sofa or a console, a single statement piece anchors the wall and reads clearly in listing photographs. Small frames in a cluster tend to look busy on camera and are slower to install across many rooms.
Every Hour & Hearth design is 150 × 100cm in a light beige floating frame, ready to hang. Having one size across a property keeps your documentation simple: one set of dimensions, one frame, one fixing approach. Designs are photographed either vertical or horizontal, but any design can be hung either way. As a rule of thumb, horizontal suits the wall above a bed or sofa, and vertical suits an entry or a narrow wall between windows.
For more on proportion, see our guide to sizing statement wall art.
Rooms that are rebooked often tend to work best with a restrained palette that suits many guests. A few pairings to consider:
You can see each one on our collection page. Photograph the room with the piece in place before you finalise, since colour reads differently on screen than on the wall.
Each design is available as a Canvas Print or an Oil Painting. Canvas prints are colour-matched to the original design, so a run of rooms will look consistent. Oil paintings are hand-applied, so texture and tone can differ slightly from photographs. That suits a lobby or a feature suite where you want a more tactile surface, and it is worth knowing if you need rooms to match exactly.
Our post on canvas print vs oil painting sets out the differences in more detail.
Pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 12–16 weeks from deposit. Work backwards from your opening or relaunch date and allow for that window before install. Art is often decided late in a fit-out, so raise it early. Our trade guide to lead times offers a simple way to build it into your programme.
There is no minimum order, so you can start with a lobby piece or specify a number of rooms. A deposit secures a piece, and the amount is confirmed on the quote. The balance is due before delivery, by PayID or bank transfer. GST is shown on the quote, and delivery within Sydney is quoted per order.
Yes. Every design is currently in Sydney. You can view them in person by appointment at our studio in Beverly Hills, Sydney, or we can bring pieces to your property in Sydney. Ask us what is available.
Seeing a piece in the room is useful for Starry Night, which has gold-leaf detail through charcoal and white, because the detail shifts with the light. Our page on large wall art in Sydney is a good starting point if you are still comparing options.
Trade pricing is available on application. It is not published online. Approved trade accounts receive the priced line sheet from the studio. Start on our trade page for hotels, or open a trade account directly.
If you are fitting out a hotel, a boutique stay or a set of apartments in Sydney, we would be glad to show you the collection. Send an enquiry through our contact page and we will arrange a time at the studio or bring pieces to you.
